Kids: Adventures in Robotics & Programming

Did you know that last year, more than 100,000 students and an estimated 8,000 teams took part in robotics events worldwide? This hands on and collaborative course will immerse you in the exciting and popular world of Robotics. Working in pairs and small teams students will learn about topics such as gear ratios, locomotion and energy as they construct robots with the New LEGO® MINDSTORMS® NXT Robotics kit. During the week you will learn how to design, build, program and control your robots while putting them through a series of real-world design challenges. At the end of the week you’ll get to take the ultimate challenge of competing in the DMAdventures Robot Games!

Whether you are brand new to programming and robotics or already have experience and are an aspiring engineer, this course will allow you to increase your knowledge while having an amazing time along with other student with similar interests.

Who Is This Course For?
The project-based nature of the curriculum allows for beginning to advanced students to excel.

This camp/course is ideal for kids who love to build things with their hands and want to learn more about mechanical and programming concepts. This course will challenge you to think critically and work with others to solve problems.
